My sweet Bobbi Lee, would you marry me?
We'll run away from here
To a house made of bricks, and pink swizzle sticks
And a door of cotton candy, so sheer

My sweet Bobbi Lee, would you marry me?
We'll dance the peppermint twist
Pluck a handful of tulips, and sneak some mint juleps
And wear candy necklaces on our wrists

My sweet Bobbi Lee, would you marry me?
A rainbow of Skittles awaits
We'll suck lollypops and dine on gumdrops
And eat the red licorice plates

My sweet Bobbi Lee, would you marry me?
And drink from the chocolately stream
We'll frolic and play, in the Milky Way
And sleep on clouds of whip cream

My sweet Bobbi Lee, would you marry me?
And fly over the lemony sun
Our stomachs might ache, if we have too much cake
But I promise it'll be worth the fun

My sweet Bobbi Lee, would you marry me?
And see the animal cracker zoo
Caramel squares and brown teddy bears
Are waitin' there just for you

My sweet Bobbi Lee, would you marry me?
If you let me be your fella
From the strawberry skies and blueberry pies
It'll make you a candy cane umbrella

My sweet Bobbi Lee, would you marry me?
And skip jelly beans from the dock
We'll watch the sun dapple, on each candied apple
And I'll make you a tootsie roll frock

My sweet Bobbi Lee, would you marry me?
And chase after chocolate bunnies
We'll split a fudge sundae, on the porch every Monday
Then from our fingers lick golden honeys

My sweet Bobbi Lee, would you marry me?
And climb over the ice cream slope
Butterscotch swirls, and praline whirls
And marshmallow minis, I hope

My sweet Bobbi Lee, would you marry me?
And dive into the milkshake pool
I'll give you the ring, I took from the king
But you'll still be the brightest jewel

My sweet Bobbi Lee, would you marry me?
If so, then please tell me when
Its already noon, and I have to go soon
But will you marry me, when we turn ten?

Its the kind of ballad which could have been sung by...Johnny Horton.

I finally edited this poem. The flow (or lack thereof) of this draft has always bothered me.
