I, Adam … ~*Marge Tindal*~ I, Adam, take this time to pen an apology through the rhyme to all the Eves of the land for these years of misunderstand~ It is I that should wear the blame for the apple-biting escapade Truth was that I just could not resist so, I blamed the one who granted me years of life in tasty bliss~ Eve got a raw deal throughout history But truth is … she didn’t force-feed me Of the apple I freely partook then quickly blamed her for the temptation of the fruit of the tree What in Eden was wrong with me? I was being merely man … so sorry for the misunderstand~ ~*~ I, Eve, as I usually do, forgive as He has asked us to But one thing more should be understood Next time, Adam, do not cast the blame on one who wears this lady’s name For, my dear, if you should try to again cast the blame on me you will find out what He meant "a tooth for a tooth" "an eye for an eye" Let there be no misunderstand I know that you are merely ... man I was thinking of how you could make it up to me my mind's in a swirl ... yet I was sure you'd agree (How's about you get to give childbirth next time?) But, now that I think about it and you've so readily apologized Two miracles in the same week ? Nah, that ain't gonna happen~ ~*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
