Why is it when I close my eyes I see you And when I’m standing alone I feel you Why do I think of your eyes through the day? Why do I wish for your voice just to say? Am I a slave to your grace? Why am I willing to throw my life away? Should I not be so gay? As when my love I see your face Why your skin does call to me Why your lips do look so sweet Why your words do comfort me Why your charm does pull me in How can I be so revived? Are you not my love in white? You’re dancing as if a winded kite Why do you keep my mind in flight? Am I not a man so cold? Your eyes do indicate to scold Yet are my words as they’re old My eyes too seem to have a hold Let go of boys and grab a man Why not just take me, just take my hand And come and walk with me to lands Where we will live to see the grand If desired we seek adventure And live a life a thousand times So measured in the actions bind Will we wander to actions find All this love should be for you and me If love does come then love will be Your love should start by living free Will you end a love, to love for me? ‘Tis hard and sad to ask of this For loss is easy to attain But to gain my love you will not miss Your pressent love is like the ever-unblooming flower But my love is perfect for your blossom With warmth and rains of peace And light that’s bright will never cease A more perfect setting there cannot be And as I love can you love me [This message has been edited by themute (06-04-2006 11:05 PM).] |

Beautifully said. Until he extends the circle of his compassion to all living things, |
