Goddess of Crescent Moon She sat upon the crescent moon and dipped her feet into the celestial waters. In her hair, she adorned a star which radiated brilliance upon her crimson tresses. An amulet of dreams around her neck swooned in motion with each breath she took. She bent over and in her hand held the world in comfort. From her fingertips came rain which cleansed and purified. From her gaze came light, like a luminous retreat. And from her amulet of dreams, the dawn was born. She cradled the world within her arms and from her bosom she gave peace. As she placed the tiny world back within motions grace, she kissed it ever so gently... Sparking life to renew in its humble existence. |
