(Just writing it out)

The maze

In a moment of need I ventured to see
from so far away but not randomly
and the way forward became as a maze
with memories standing full in the way.

When once entwined in a mystery unknown
the picture though dark seemed yet to be shown
and the inner a field of the wild and untamed
was then and today completely unframed.

Though searches a mind for a future desired
the grid seems to favour the now required
and knots the lines across and around
this hard and untenable ground.

The mind is free when partnered, you see
to touch on the all as if in a dream
but shunt off love to the side of the line
and the grid breaks at this present time.

The more, the more, beckons us all
and I hear, I hear, the incessant call
to bring love in to the days of our lives
and travel as one through immortal time.

But another time maybe for love to arrive
with the full force and effect of desire
to help us all get through the maze
of life and memories that stand in the way!

Helen....a maze is just another way of saying amazed....life is like that..as is poetry.
