She Said In Anger... It seems I don't know where to start To tell you of my broken heart Been this way for many weeks Never seems my turn to speak When I do it's never right My words just make you want to fight You used to like my company Now you just see wrong in me Got to change what you don't like Can't even question if you're right Won the fight and lost my friend But broken hearts can always mend I Said In Tears... I can't imagine where you'd start To tell me of your "broken" heart While day by day, and week by week Your deeds undo the words you speak It's because that's wrong that you're not right 'Til you accept that, we must fight A snake was my best company Until the day the snake bit ME Did something I will NEVER like Decided not to treat me right But TRUTH in time might someday mend A heart that died with my best friend © 2006 Gerry E. Gerry~ You don't *gift* us often ... but with a gem like this ... it's just enough~ 'Your deeds undo the words you speak' Oh ... SO much truth in this~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

this is so beautifully and skilfully written. really free flowing and impassioned. I wondered though, why you italicized the last word on every line? anyway, lovely write. |
