mais he brought her madelines and roman chewing candy she sucked licked stuffed herself he laughed watching her pink tongue wrap itself on candy now she lies belly tight as a tick head in his deep lap bare toes waving he touches red lip bent to a heart long brown finger traces cheek to ear back to swollen mouth tiny milk teeth nip toes wiggle screen door open breeze lifting bouquet herb saint mimosa swamp water lies hands touch waist tug cotton skimpy where you eating your couche-couche tomorrow morning she asks sucking at praline fingers lifting ah poupée where you think I’m fixin’ to eat wherever wander legs take you won’t be here bugs storm screen buzzing to get in lady feels bitten around the edges |

I think he'll bring her something decadant -- maybe, sweet amaretto ... or dark chocolate filled with a sweet fruit .. or maybe ... drifts off thinking of your question ... maybe he'll bring her a bright bauble ... or spicy perfume ... smiles and goes ... |
