Honey or Thyme

Were you the one
who deserved the best
Were you the heartbeat,
the smile, and the rest

Were you those secrets to tell
that item of personal,
your scent and smell

Were you beauty
and a specialness inside
Were you so much
that much never to hide

Your heart, your soul
your kindness combined
Were you heaven,
a factor within your eyes

Everything and anything
a smile, the sunshine
Sweeter and more tender
than honey or thyme
