Tuesday, August 15, 2006:

I'm in this house,
simply alone.
Shadowed by
the exact darkness.
As I lay on my back.
On my twin sized bed.
Head on the soft pillow,
I stole from Momma,
that night I was scared.
Because the thunder roared at me
through the open window.
And I refuse to close the orange curtains.
To Not look at the sky,
with it's blue darkness
and shining moon & stars.
Awaiting the sun.
And I know it's stupid,
but the pillow protects me
from shadowed shades of shadows
peeking profoundly
while I sit profoundly.
And think about this darkness
and the gray-shades & white & blue
all mixed together and alone.
Like me.
And that's what I'm staring at on the ceiling.
With the empty space.
At the fake faces
really shapes
imagining coming to life.
And speaking to me in tongues of some short.
While I sport a empty house.
And stay in this one empty room.
Where I find the emptiness to be lonely
and fulfilled space desired.
And I see expensive things
and bodies & bones & flesh &... color.
But that's nothing with the emptiness.
While outsiders believe the rich one happy.
But everything's empty.
Yet I'm closed in,
'cause all the space is physically filled
with material things.
... ... ...
But then I look into the eyes
of all the desired, fulfilled space.
And I realize,
it's no use,
because it's all
mentally empty.

Clarissa dear poet, I DID understand this perfectly, it's my favorite kind of poetry,
straight from the heart. I understand this kind of emptiness. Heart hugs to you.
