On A Journey To The Unknown

0 posted 2006-08-12 11:54 PM

This Old Road

With fear inside my heart
and tears in my eyes
I can't help but wonder
the reasons why

Troubles seem to always
keep coming my way
I wish they would all go
somewhere else, and stay

Life is a journey, is what I believe
filled with too many ups and downs
Once is a while, something happens
to take away all of those frowns

While you hang onto your faith
your days all seem the same
Those hopes and dreams
just seem like part of an old game

It seems you can not win
no matter what you do
If, there a way to succeed
of this, I have no clue

Troubles seem to follow me
no matter which way I go
When to give up trying
is what I do not know

Until the answer comes to me
I guess, I will keep on trying
As I travel down this old road
through the journey's of life

No matter how disheartened you may become, there is still lots of spark in your kind heart.

I do believe that the braver the soul, the greater the challenges one has in life. Soldier on! You will win all your battles in divine time ~ which often takes longer than my liking!

I have a tremendous amount of compassion and understanding for where you are writing from. I have been there. Actually, I am fighting like hades to get past this difficult time in my life. There are so many trials that are wearing me down at the present time, but I'm not just treading water, I am managing to swim across the sea of despair with the sun shining down on my back!

You know I'm just an email or a phone call away! We could join forces and fill our sails with a gentle southern wind and sail into a beautiful sunrise and and a bright new day!

Love to you, dear friend,
Linda xo

If life were truly easy, Sue, then anyone could handle it.  But it isn't, ever, and only the ones who don't fear adversity but meet it head on are the true winners.

It takes a very strong person to continue trudging through murky waters, but your persistance will pay off beautifully around one of these bends down life's road.

I, too, have been through some times when I could hardly believe there was an end to the tunnel.  "Need" often propells us when faith grows wan, but the rewards are awesome when they do appear.  You'll appreciate them far more than those who have it all handed to them.  God bless you.

Sue, for most of us, our bad days are mild
compared to many of those we cannot see
that are homeless, lying in bed dying,
without so much that we "require"...

Yes, some days that road is filled with
bumps....I know,  I walk it too.

Sue as I set alone and read,
I think I see your need,
find some way to get happy,
dont wait make it snappy.
