Mixing up present reality

Can we?

Lets try, huh?

Songs of infected humor

reflecting

crematoriums

Insinuating sweetness

Among

burning ruins

Stays alone on the streets

Blood run & infested

Used up by permission

Is emotional the imagined one?

Meters propel some soul of “might ends”

Encountering the history of existence

How Weary it must be?

What I wanted was “ground time”

Seemingly innocent

Like banana bread

I’m a nothing pedestrian

That you wouldn’t ordinarily notice

Yet to deny a holiday dinner

Imagine, every thing that wouldn’t be said

We can take an airplane back to college

We’re human beings using up human rights

Articulating insecurities

Tonight I’ll pray and ask

“Where is God?”

Has my ground time been put to death?

We have....only what we make, and in large part, only what we make and give away. Ground time shall be mine today, Manhattan Beach, watching my grown-up son play sand volleyball (for money now)....and building memories of that, of sun, of sand, of family, of life.

"Where is God?"

There be no need for you to ask this question. You, Lovely Lee, know the answer.

These lines really affected me: 'Insinuating sweetness/Among/burning ruins'.
LeeJ, I find your words enchanting. You have true talent
