4661 Olivia My Love 09 December 2005 Trapped on a train ride to oblivion like the story was a tale poetic upon life Forever seeking not able to find "Will you marry me" this woman of husband to wife Captured in a single locomotion with a song to sing out loud Tracking a rail of endeavour knowing in that you were there proud Happy to be smiling cheerful to be free My love - my darling "Will you marry me" On this train ride to ‘oblivia’ and back although neither in word Was the lonesome traveller on a honeymoon toward love © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
