"Cherish is the word"
the thoughts I heard,
as the ride home
seemed like forever,
and a long ago song
returned the memories
of a fonder yesteryear...

Raising the emotions
to a higher level,
the once casualty of time
is a battle to keep love alive,
the only gift to awaken the secrets
that are treasures
of the heart...

Pillowed thoughts follow me:
words to cherish,
dreams to sustain.
Softspoken until silent,
holding the key
that unlocks my
tomorrow-song.

M

I love the thought of the "tomorrow song".
Thank you for this when I needed to read it most.

Oh, what that old music
will do to our senses...

even goes so far
as to bring back smells...

Enjoyed this, m'friend.

Thant "tomorrow song" blends so well with
my yesterday song. I'll just be glad when
we can have our many tommorrows.
Hugs,
