On A Journey To The Unknown

To work so hard
never catching up
With bills unpaid
they'll turn them off

There'll be not water
to even have to drink
To get ahead, it seems
is just a dream

To have some food to eat
there is no way
As I try to get by
each and everyday

It's been two months
since I bought food
To pay some bills, it seems
is all I can ever do

My clothes are starting
to hang on me
It seems I will never
have any food to eat

I do all I can do just to
keep hanging on
But, it seems just too hard
when, living all alone

Sometimes, my thoughts
turn back to him, again
Only, I don't want to look
so desperate to him

I'm a single mother and I know
so well the struggles to keep
the bills paid and food on the table.

There have been many months that I
went with the Lucy Ricardo bill paying
method ... put them all on the lazy Susan,
give it a spin and all the ones that
stayed on got paid

Keep your sense of
humor about ya, hon -- it isn't easy, but
it -is- possible

Sue I know it's hard. I tried it for 8 months myself and ended up going back to roommates.

Hang in there though...things will turn out okay...you made the right choice by leaving him and becoming who you are today!
