Often times, I wonder
what is wrong with me
as I search for
the me that use to be

The little girl with so much
forgiveness in her heart
seems to be no where around
like she was from the very start

Is it possible for life to change you
or is the heart just covered with all
the hurt and pain inflicted upon you
from those memories you recall

The answers I have yet to find
as I look for the me that use to be
It seems she should still be there
somewhere deep inside of me

wow, a good question, what ever happened to the me i used to be, have you ever heard the tale of the ugly duckling that grew up to be a swan, well perhaps you have not looked in the water for awhile, if you do you will see a reflection of the beutifill lady you have become.

yes, it is possible for life to change you...but it's people that change you, they can either touch your life in a good way, or a bad one...and I believe most of us have a taste of both, it's for us to learn from the bad stuff, and go forward, stronger, but not angry.
