Spiderweb Cracks My action is the hand that moves before it can be stopped but your reaction is the stone flying fast and blind shattering the picture we worked so long for; just a minute ago you were smiling out at me. You’re rushing to get it all out forcing the words as fast as you can pull away, but if you’re determined to give up- if this is really the way it should be, just let it come; I’ll watch you fall apart and if it’s all we have, don’t push, keep your eyes open and savor the breakdown. My ideal is falling apart at the speed of the sound falling from your lips rushed and broken in words; I’m shattering in the moment after I’ve already seen it in the avoidance of your eyes and felt it in the space you leave between us; as I’m waiting the spiderweb cracks spread all around me, fracturing like glass, I’m fragile breaking from the inside- I always thought you would be there, but cracks are splintering out and I’m standing in the center alone. As I watch, pieces of you separate and fall away from me just like everything else. |

I wish I had written this~~ I do, very much, wish I had. You say things here that I have wanted to express, without so much as realizing that I did. |
