under a starry sky ...pt.2

the sun set before us six walkers on foot
excitement in the air and smells of wonder
a positive energy circulating
warm glows found after dusk
the music sang to us as we danced again
and talked about anything
it was golden when you spoke
and told me where you were from
how different our homelands are
crossing all barriers we found ground
a safe place to speak peace
and of what really matters
chocolate is what i forgot to have on hand
next time i will have the best
I walked beside you for a night
and wished it was forever
if i had known the night before
when we met, i would have danced then too
in the midnight hours with friends
ones from afar .... under an almost full moon
guessing when it would be
there was magic from everyone and it glowed bright
i can see it now even though it is in the past
until we meet again Isis may you be loved

Hi Wolfie...
Good to read you again!
This is a wonderful piece full of great imagery.
Well done!
Hugs~Nancy

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

And so it those we live with
and should know who elude us
But we can still love them
we can love completely
without complete understanding

I like how you quote Tolkien. Only the coolest people I know quote him. Cheers   - Ed

haha the coolest !! now u sayin that is cool lol, he is the man ... how he came up with all of the middle earth, and from his own adventures those books were wrote ... much was about and from the war he was in the world war ...and the bonding of friends while in combat, and the shire of home and the duty that rested so heavy on his shoulders, and of the ring and the fire of which it was forged. but much came after those books, many more he wrote anyways a great man and good fellow he was and will always be ... and thank your for the kind hearted comment my good sir ...
