[Concerning the first Day of
my 2 week Vacation to MA & FL]

Today is like a dream
But a Dream come true,
Surreal to the Life
That I was going through.

Today I realize
Plans that I have made,
I waited long to see
In wonder, unafraid.

The future opens up
With a new page turned,
While building on my past
And all that I have learned.

Oh, am I up to this?
I guess we will see,
For Time cannot stand still
It beckons forth to me!

May this Dream be a Dream
Fulfillment realized,
And not a scary shock
From which I'd run and hide.

Days like this are rare
Thus may it I savor,
The full experience
Blessed by His good Favor.

[Written at the Atlanta Airport,
while waiting for my connecting
flight--7/1/2006--]

Every Day's a Blessing
And Gift-Wrapped from Above,
Share it with another
And Spread the Father's Love!!!
