Written: November 6, 2004 Title: SNOW (MY BLANKET) Sitting by the window Watching the snow dance Fall Touch The ground softly. A gentle caress. White and pale, a blanket. Covering the naked earth. No longer exposed the dead grass and trees safe surrounded secured under a blanket of ice white snow. Ice blue eyes Cold white smile. No more lies. Let it dance touch the ground.. caress...the ground bare and naked, exposed. the snow... I am alone at the window. Clutching myself, holding on to me pretending that it is you.. my blanket of snow. |

The thought of snow is deliciously enticing in this sauna I call home. I enjoyed the reprieve of this reverie very much. |
