Light of Color The light that shines so sweet and bright I place my palette every night The colors of a prisms break Fills my brush in sweeps of wake It dabs the magic that I dream A field of green a running stream Of trees and flowers growing hope It is the fiber of my cope Its here I bring the world to peace Its here I dance in free caprice Its here my paintings fill the glade Its here my soul does find its shade And in the interim of life With all its pain and all its strife I paint that with the color grime And add to it a PS time I know naught, before or after But have known a little laughter |
