When madness strikes; and no one’s there
When nothing matters anywhere
When calm then comes to take your hand
That is when you’ll understand

When days they all pretend the same
When choice and fate are all to blame
Venture where some peace you see
For then a better self you’ll be

When sadness seems to take a hold
It matters not to what you’re told
Share a part to quell its strength
Halving then the healing length

When time is yours but you are lost
Find the road that you had crossed
Turn around, then find the way
Searching till your life’s OK

And when you sleep, then dream the dream
Which people found had also seen
Then the day when it does come
Will turn into a happy one

And then when madness strikes again
Smile and thank it with amen
The mind is searching for  repair
By voices that are hidden there

it never ceases to amaze me how the words of one can touch so many hearts in so many different ways - and sometimes say exactly what we need to hear.  Your words have touched me, thank you.
