in the mouths of clouds
fragile as metal mallets
striking the stones of echos

there was only a sinner's wind
to warm the lady's river
when her moan songs strummed

she had mirrors for names
secret pillows for her dreams
she met a teacher and taught

her lips spilled liquor
but her words were heathen
like fingered vines of spawn

that laced in golden curls
to elucubrate her whisper's wet
with a ravishing vulgarity

so her seams were swollen open

"striking the stones of echoes"  Yes.  Silent as they may be...never mute. Extraordinaire!

this is so so so good, but also vaguely disturbing. i mean-whoa! what imagery!
the last line gave me chills in the way i suppose only thoughts from a dark stranger can.
