Eternal love
Above the clouds
The hope of Zeus
And other gods

Still the bull
Will gladly do
With somewhat less
For an hour or two

And what man pray tell
Would not do as well
In forest field
Or by the shore

If the heifer
Were slender
Eager
And ready to go

Do you poor fool
See him in the mirror

John

This made me smile.  I realize you have your tongue in your cheek....with that comparison; love / and lust.  A very clever poem, I think...and some of mankind may indeed see themselves in that mirror.  Well done!!

Claws, someone said to me...sometimes you just have to show 'em. Yeahhhhh.....this would be one of those times, I think.
