It doesn’t matter
How you dress it up

(The market
Has any number of condiments that try)

A week old loaf is still a lump
That's lost its flavor

A slice from which
Isn’t worth
The price

But so many see only the dressings... don't bother to look closer as they grab. *S*

I like this very much! *S*

Good point.

This applies to many things. Pretty packaging is everywhere.

Except perhaps for rye, which gets better for a day or two if you don't cut it, then coasts for a bit. Rye, wry, just a matter of spelling, eh?

To me, this has a very metaphorical message behind it. It makes me think of good and evil, I don't know why. Wrong is wrong no matter what "condiments" you slap on it. Very nice poem. Cheers   - Ed
