Birds of Baum

Birds of Baum

In Baum they say,

"If you put your most treasured
possession into a birdhouse,
the birds will take it to
the person you love."

So I did what they said,
and while I waited for
those kind birds to proceed,
my heart beat in want
of the woman I need.

Today with a big smile
on my face I tell you,
that the kind birds
of Baum came through.

Wonder if that actually works cos you wouldnt want anything worth much to go to the wrong person
