Tears in dust, Makes another sort of mud, Little beads, The soul bleeds, Tears are the souls spirits blood. Tears in dust. How long now? When was it you went away, In my dreams, Not long seems, It seems like T’was yesterday. How long now? The dust shows, Time has slipped away again, Lost of grace, Hidden face, Watching from the shadowed pain; The dust shows. A letter, Written with still loving hand, Sits where sat, Just like that, Unopened not to explain, A letter. The teardrops, Arc in front of the paper, Long staring, Lost sharing, The silent words meant for her, Are teardrops. The footprints, They enter and leave the room, Shuffle in, Out agin, No lights to brighten the Gloom; Just footprints And teardrops, A letter, Dusty room. Gloom |

First, let me thank you for your kind comment on my post. As suthern and you suggested, perhaps I will ask my sister if she will write a duet with me. We'll see. I know she is very busy and only writes on the spur of moment. The science in me loves your description. I can see those drops and prismatic beads so vividly. Their surface tension is incredibly written on several levels. I hope things are well with you, Sir. It is good to once again read your work. miscellanea |
