Why must the spring leave one solitary sparrow to teeter silent on the back of my lawn chair, as if a mate might appear? |

Ed In spring it seems the solitary is sad. Spring seeks to mate all things the cabbage moth to the plants a flutter like love yet not I understand this quiet observation! |

One solitary sparrow fed her young today I marveled in their closeness through my own window and my dry spirit... |

The more I study your work, the more impressed I am... I could write reams about the sorrows and unfairnesses of life... You capture all that succinctly and beautifully in the solitude of one sparrow's wait for what may never be. This is perfect, my friend... poetry at it's best! |
