Breast Dressed in Wonder

08 May 2006

Lynda in beauty, Lynda in fun
Lynda with a rope of truth
a wonder woman to some

Likened unto the Last Mohican
or where dukes in Hazzard County do roam
Born in July, an Arizona girl
where beauty was wonder
her eyes a blue rich in pearl

Bespectacled as Diana Prince
more the bridesmaid of encounter
Created and recreated once again
forever eternal in wonder of name

Lynda, Lynda Carter
her heart sweet to breast
Just to know, just to understand
there was more to beauty
than the size of a woman’s chest

Lynda Carter was born on 24 July 1951 in Arizona, USA. In 1973, she won the Miss World-U.S.A title,
representing Arizona and thereafter took on the role of an actresses for the part of “Wonder Woman”,
in the TV series Wonder Woman, that ran from 1976 to 1979.
A character that it has become one of the most indelible characters in TV history.

Married twice. Her first marriage was to her former agent Ron Samuels in 1977. They were
divorced in 1982. She married lawyer Robert Altman in 1984. The couple have two children,
James and Jessica Altman.

Lynda Carter played the role of Elizabeth Shields in the 1994/1995 production of “Hawkeye”
based on the 19th century novel, James Fenimore Cooper’s “The Last of the Mohicans”.
Carter had her first appearance in a major feature film in a number of years in the 2005
big-screen remake of The Dukes of Hazzard. She also appeared in the 2005 movie “Sky High”
as Principal Powers, the head of a school for superheroes. The script allowing Carter to
poke fun at her most famous character by having her state: “How do you expect me to do
something like that? I'm not Wonder Woman.”

I think that was a lovely tribute.  Indeed, she has the most mesmerizing eyes...beautiful.  Thanks for sharing.
