I saw you in your room today
you were writing in your journal
crying for the first time
stoping at my name
putting a little red heart at the end.


In this picture
the one that I drew for you
the colors of the rainbow
dance in the background
but with one thing missing.


A knock at the door
and I finish your smile
clutch my chest
wish for the best
and pray for a miracle.


Her arms wrap around me
when we see each other
and run to her house
to star in our own picture
that just came true.
