in a riot of leaves in a cloud of exhaust you showed me three ways to get off a cross: like a thief like a thief and like a perhaps god now old friends see a phantom an old lover does too and I’ve lost whatever charm it was that got me to you but if this is just another cross I’ll be more careful when I choose until I’m god enough to handle these resurrection blues |
