4959 The Day of Susan 22 January 2006 Remember that day this day Susan was there Her arms around him holding on to him tight That day Susan arrived and then stayed the night Just twenty four hours of a whole world of life She had been and again to be another man's wife What a trip when she arrived at the door each hour to treasure for real and evermore The day of this earth - Susan was there in everything of appeal Two souls connected arms upon him in bodies joined Purely platonic as two friends could this day of earth into the sunset on a four wheeler ATV Susan and him would “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2: 7 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares [This message has been edited by poettothecars (05-18-2006 09:47 AM).] |
