turning from you,
i walk out the door,
you beg and plead
for me not to leave.
as i look down the stairs
i turn back to see all your tears
they run down your cheek
as u run up to me the tear blind you
you wrap your arms around me
holding me ever so tight
the tears hit my chest
and as they do i wrap my arms around you
i tell you its alright
and wipe the tears from your eyes
you look at me with eyes filled
full of hope and longing
i lift your chin slightly and gently press my lips to yours
a soft kiss that tells you i wont be back
a kiss that knocks you on your ass
i am leaving now my dear friend..
it may be to never return..
please don't cry please don't pout
cause you should know i am in your heart
i may come back when the time is right
but not yet and not for a while
know i love you and i will do anything for you
know my heart is their for you
know i will not forget you nor the
memories we shared
cause they are eternal like a star
and know i am part of who you are
with a kiss to your forehead i start down the stairs
i hear you sob and cry
your tears that fell on my chest soaked up by my shirt
left a heart shape broken in two.
