Rewrite My Blue Rose My glories set a rugged stem Whose purpose I pursue A crown of thorns lays diadem Its majesty shows blue It vacillates from prim to whim Its roots no common soil I think my adoration dim And I, a foolish foil I cannot help this love I bear These minions of reveal I cannot hide this heart of care Nor can I bare conceal It has a will of ceaseless breeze It titillates its mark A symbol of a mental tease The mark is moonless dark I would it stop this endless broil And set the pot to flame or boil |

I cannot help this love I bear These minions of reveal I cannot hide this heart of care Nor can I bare conceal Dear Seymour - if you were to "hide your heart" - we would not be able to read your rose petal soft words. Lovely write. hugs, Chris Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance. |
