Years ago when i was young, i dreamt of a country place. Before i had even mastered my tongue, i saw the sun upon my face. Different patchworks seen from above, pastures green and gold. Now they call to me with love, the images of my heart bold. Squares upon the land, fringed by darkended hedgerows. Almost in the clouds i stand, where energising air flows. Focusing to the horizon distant, earth, wildflower scent inbreathing; fills my soul constant, icewhite clouds above sailing. Tawny-sepia heather rippling; land sprawled to the elements, Curlews tumbling earthwards, bubbling, sun rising in increments. Experiancing solitary beauty bright; stone walls rough hand glide. Spring rain taste on lips, light, back to my dream i slide.... http://wordsthoughtsfeelings.blogspot.com [This message has been edited by Goldenrose (04-23-2006 06:48 PM).] |

wow Phil I'm amazed at how you've grown in your poetry! If it weren't for dreams, we would not be alive, would we? Wonderful write! |
