Did they know when they came for him in the garden ? Certainly no mercy, yet he asked for no pardon. The Lord nailed to the cross, to get their point across. With fate looking grim, this man started to dim. Thru his pain and stife, a gift of eternal life. A lot of people say they wish they could be perfect and my response always is, "there was One perfect Man in this world and look what they did to Him!" I don't want to be perfect. A good poem. Sheri Adams Jesus lives in my heart! He can in yours too!!! |

"Good" Friday is good for us because Jesus died for our sins ~ but I still find it disconceting to refer to it as "Good". A powerful piece of writing, Love & the Christ Light, EA  |

Thanks Earth Angel, I know what you mean about it being "good". I have changed my way of thinking on that one. For it is because of all these things happening, it brought and told of the greatest good that could ever be. Hey, I just thought of this, if you drop one O from good, you would have God Friday. I know that my gown not needeth to be pure white when I walk up to heavens gate. For Jesus saved my soul from eternal hell. God knew that we were not perfect, mistakes he knew we would make so he sent his son to save the Human race  Debo |
