Fading Into You

I sleep the night to dream your whispers,
Your gentle touch of ocean eyes.
Your masked marauding captures me,
In all your worlds of shared disguise.

To fade into your heart each night,
To hold each beat then offered me.
A promise felt in every way,
From each caress, eternally.

~~ Chorus ~~

Secrets shared beneath the covers.
Two enwrapped, in sweet retreat.
Sighs exposing, treasures found,
When night's silence enters deep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Come each morn, when light has broken,
Memories reach to touch the pale.
The guise, once more becomes the normal,
Another dawning, to leave its trail.
A painted canvas breaks the silence,
Eyes take in what hearts do bare.
Widening the view, horizons,
Opening new worlds to share.
~~ Chorus ~~
Secrets shared beneath the covers,
Warmed by moonlight's blanket, soft.
Stolen moments held in fullness,
Dreaming whispers sent aloft.~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."
(Will Moss)

Thanks Kacy. I use to write more romantically when I first came on...so I thought I would reminisce a bit more as a "pick me up"

Rich, I  don't know a thing about music except I like to listen to it.
But if you want to put it to a tune that would be great
thanks

Nancy thank you for always having such kind responses. I have been feeling kind of "down" lately besides the loss, this flu has left me still feeling bad after 4 weeks now. Luckily I am on spring break this week...giving me a chance to recuperate.(hopefully)

Rich, I would be honored with whatever you come up with.   OOPS you added to your response..sure! send me a link or put it here.
