5285 God’s Ensign 12 April 2006 Would she ever understand or was distance, God’s mercy Did she know, the truth can be pain an uncomfortable feeling that understanding, Tammy by name Her heart, her soul, her eyes each inch of her metric being Eyes blind, eyes open eyes for her, blue in seeing Did she know how special she was How much kindness she could in Him obtain Did she know, this was the pain God’s mercy, God’s understanding two spirits across a world Did she want to understand this ensign, which was for her “Verily I say unto you all: Arise and shine forth, that thy light may be a standard for the nations; And that the gathering together upon the land of Zion, and upon her stakes, may be for a defence, and refuge from the storm, and from wrath when it shall be poured out without mixture upon the whole earth.” Doctrine and Covenants 115: 5-6 a poet who cares |
