You want me to change my changing ways. To say that I'll stay with you all my days. My hearts always been faithful, but I've got a restless mind. So many times my heart gets left behind. I'm not going to go wasting my breath. What can I say that aint been said to death? If I choose my words real careful and express my feelings right... I'm only stating how I feel tonight. So, ask me if my heart is yours to keep. I'll say yes, and we can get some sleep. But don't go asking if I'm going to stay You know that my mind don't work that way. Your mind is showing slides you've seen before. You focus on your favorites with no need of seeing more. But the images keep changing in my Kaleidoscopic mind... I can only see whats showing at the time. You want me to change my changing ways. I make my commitments day by day. Although I cannot say tonight How tomorrows going to feel... That doesn't mean my love for you's not real. I wish my lips could kiss your tears away. But, your comfort lies in what my lips might say. I know what you want to hear... But, I don't want to lie. I guess I'm gonna have to let you cry. |
