Just another nameless,
faceless, nobody
who doesn't stand out
in a croud.

But why not?
The sameclothes,
the same hairstyle,
the same attitude...
It's all the same

So why do some people have it,
and some don't?
You can do everything they do,
but still they reject you.

It's a fact of life.
It's too bad though,
because some people
keep striving to acheve
that goal.
That unatainable goal.

Eventually,
they give up,
not out of realization
of truth;
but out of despair.

Despair leads to
terrible acts of desparation.
And,
to many unfortunite deaths.

"Despair" ~ the very word brings a tear to my heart. Having counselled patients as an R.N. in hospital psychiatric wards, I know of the toll that despair can take on one's life and to the lives of those who love them.

It has often been said, if you want to learn something ~ teach it! I learned the skills and coping mechanisms that I taught to others, and at desperate times in my own life, they kept me from falling into a bottomless pit of despair.

I do believe that "Like attracts Like" ~ so "Light attracts Light". I have found that if I fan even the tiniest spark of light in my life, it grows into a brilliant flame that draws more sparkle and positivity my way! Whenever I have been lost in the darkness, all I do is attract even more darkness.

Excuse my ramblin' on 'n on ~ but I truly was affected deeply by your words.

May your life be rife with Love & Light!

This is very true, but that is why we as Christians are here, is to show them the hope that is available. There is hope available - all lwe have to do is reach out to the hand of God and he will reach the rest of the way.
