I can remember your footsteps From the night before When we walked together on the beach The place we walked together Barefoot in the sand Has me missing you more and more I’m wishing that you could be here So that I could hold your hand Then I can take you out at night Whisper little nothings in you ear Eating nachoes with a dies cherry coke Playing in the sea on a dark night Smoking cigarettes in the moonlit sand Each foot print crying memories As my mind is tracing back Each word spoken with a dimpled smile Now dreading the days ahead When I’ll be missing you to death So we can walk together In a dark night on the beach Barefoot in the sand |

What a lovely poem filled with a great amount of passion and desire for a loved one. You must feel very strongly about somebody - if not you write as though you do. Very nice poem. I enjoyed the calm feeling of it very much. Sheri Adams Jesus lives in my heart! He can in yours too!!! |

Beautiful, Matt. The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears. |

I saw you, hand in hand, beneath a magical silvery moonlit night. Nice write, Matt. |
