Come to me in darkest night When demons hold my thoughts to light Exposing all my secrets, deep That gives me nightmares in my sleep Come to me when in my bed I lie in semi-conscious dread Of what the night will have in store Dreams and fears and so much more Come to me and take my hand Against these demons take a stand Protect me from their wrath and scorn Pull from me their jagged thorn Come to me and hold me close Chase away my memory's ghosts That I'll not fear the sun's lost shine And peaceful sleep will e'er be mine. |
