You left without the word goodbye
A flower died, I don’t know why
It seems that God had other plans
And He holds flowers in His hands

The world had changed so suddenly
And things became so dark for me
But living has a way to heal
The deepest pain a heart can feel

The seasons change and wild birds fly
Without an explanation why
And my life must continue too
The way that you would want it to

   We are never far apart
For you are always in my heart
You are a star up in the sky
And stars and flowers never die

I must confess that love goes on
Just like an old remembered song
Some days you live and do not weep
Some days it haunts you til you sleep

But in the end it is your smile
That stays with me the longest while
And petals of a bright bouquet
Come back to light the darkest day

The seasons change and wild birds fly
Without an explanation why
And my life must continue too
The way that you would want it to

   We are never far apart
For you are always in my heart
You are a star up in the sky
And stars and flowers never die

Nan,
You are right,
It was written for music
I have a song to send you. E-mail me and let me know how I can do this

I can close my eyes and see the love radiate from one world to another in this.  It truly is a circle that encompasses us heart and soul. Thank you for sharing.

Well I sure know this tune all too well, that is for sure.  Beautifully done Lizzie, and these lines especially ring true for those that seem to just mourn forever.

Some days you live and do not weep
Some days it haunts you til you sleep

Happy Sunday m'dear!
