After Midnight, March 20 Some made the attempt, to stretch with slender fingers and others with gnarled, aged reach lifting up high on rooted toes but after midnight all grasped for that elusive slip then dared to prick ominous skies to feel afresh tears so that when dawn appeared to walk the horizon she could see that the slip had fallen in frivolous and gentle green upon their limbs. Waving in an early breeze, even the eldest beauty bid Spring a good morning. ~*~ " It matters not this distance now " Excerpt, Yesterday's Love |
