You left me alone in Atlanta
grazing at the bus stop
in a pink slip
chatting up the blue haired lady
with an awkward sense
never mind the daffodils
the smell will never fade
while I wait here catching the sun
in rain's hand

A pocket full of lint
and I'm in Atlanta
washing away the grime
of a night spent
listening
to the morning rising
without complaint
parked neatly
as the bus pulls up
I walk aboard
pink slip
bright smile
and not a clue
where
I'm going.

Wow! When you come back from a dry spell you come back Page. It's a knockout!

Add a little blue grass sound behind this and it will hit number one on the charts.
I hope you have more like this one.
Love this write.
