In the gray lasts of March Its final snow In mist rising from the ground There is a sense Of something changed That what you were Not that long ago Is gone and never to return So in fragile Spring With its flowerings One puts his hopes Not in betters than before Only in weather A little more comfortable Bread Wine And now and then A slender bit of cheese |

"Only in weather A little more comfortable Bread Wine And now and then A slender bit of cheese" Once upon a time, I thought that a nice nest and a slice a cheese would be all I needed. Oh but I was wrong...but it is better than the alley, I do confess. It is the heart that hungers yet...yes? |
