This Ill-Cursed Name I am Judas, so they call me I’m one of the disciples who Walked beside the man named Jesus This man, God’s son, so pure and true I watched Him cure the blind and lame Watched him bring life to the dead Heard Him preach, though not in churches But to the multitudes instead Word of His healings reached the temple This led to instant jealousy And evil in the hearts of leaders Those priests and scribes who sent for me Thirty pieces of pure silver Was what it cost them for one kiss I sold my soul, I can’t believe That my own greed had come to this The night soon came, shame filled my heart He somehow knew what I had done “One of you here will soon betray me” Though he and I, both, knew which one There in the garden where He prayed I placed one kiss upon His face Thus began His road to Calvary Along with my own fall from grace And so my rite, my claim to fame That haunts me till the end of days This ill-cursed name that signifies A traitor or one who betrays I am nothing special...and my name will soon be forgotten, but I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me,this has always been enough.~N.S |

Timeliness, spread with grace, he was still forgiven. Ruth? I do so enjoy when I see your pennings. |

Thank you Ruth for this, the first step toward our forgiveness of sins was such a sorrowful moment... |

hoot, However many people there are that's how many stories there are. It is only one story but well done. |
