Pursuit of an Idiom Acting a presidium I dwelt upon an idiom Weighted the flavor of its taste And the compact of its waist It seems to stall inquiry And satisfy much irony It dams the river of project With a defusing affect And it often fingers the dyke Lauder’s impressions of a strike Bullies the wooly of a tale Bringing a veil of contrail It is a buffer and a stuffer A bluffer and a guffer It adds the silver of the moon And the satiety of commune It jumps the dense of subject rule It is the idiom, that’s cool |
