I was so confident once The world became my ride and the sky was my sunlight but the moon, then came a tide Some say the moon only comes out when the darkness comes to us So I stared wonder eyed and awed For water swept across these lands I found my path and continued walking along the ocean's white sands Some say the moon only comes out when the darkness comes to us I found mountains and I climbed them And I swear towering so high I thought if I climbed them I would be able to touch the sky Some say the moon only comes out when the darkness comes to us So came the sun and dried the earth and I returned to where I came reuniting with my fellow wodes nothing in my heart was the same Some say the moon only comes out when the darkness comes to us Even though the moon only shows because there is no other light to out shine it from all glory My eye still starve for its sight Some say the moon only comes out when the darkness comes to us But isn't it something to see Dedicated to my hero who stole my heart long ago. -Juju [This message has been edited by Juju (03-05-2006 10:02 PM).] |

I really love this. It has a poignant feel to it, and I like the flow.  Caroline He who wants a rose must respect the thorn. |
