The blades dip underneath this shrouded disguise and penetrate the living breathing, bleeding heart beneath. Take this hand and trace my fingertips As pain inflicted once is forgotten in the path of what follows. As it falls below the skin, the mask, that outlines what is asked and forbidden I run, and I fly with nothing pulling me down or pushing me back and I release my heart Into the tresses of the night thin wisps of air cutting a triangle In the blanket of the night sky And so my bleeding heart free of the bindings that once tortured and confined Grows its wings and flies Toward tommorrow. |

pain should be forgotten, it's so much easier when one has a "what will be will be" attitude, doesn't it. this was magnificant writing |
