A friend of mine lost her baby granddaughter, Kira, at only three months of age.
This is dedicated to her, her daughter, Kira and the entire family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all .. Love Sheri

Kira Anne Floyd, little Annie
Innocent as a Diamond Dove
Riding on the rainbows arch
And smiling at us from above

Angels hold her nigh, and
Navigate through clouds of white
Naming the stars that surround her
Each shinning on us so bright

Flutters of tiny wings dancing
Lift her spirit ever high
Over the beams of the moon
Yielding peace to those who cry~
Dear Annie, will always be with us

I can just imagine the pain of the heart of losing a daughter. I'm sure Kira is an angel in heaven. My heartfelt sympathy goes to the grieving family. I'm sure they appreciate such a compassionate write. Love and peace, Maggie ((~.~))

Ah Sheri, it is so good to see you here again.
But, oh my, with such sad news to share.
I pray for peace to enter Kira's parent's hearts,
that they may heal from such a loss.

Hugs to you as well, Nancy

A beautiful poem and I hope it brings comfort to those who need it so much. Losing a child is about the worst sorrow a person has to bear.  Prayers being said!!

May your friend and family be comforted at the loss of little Kira. Having lost my first born son, I know the pain and anguish even though the loss was later in life.

Your poem is a beautiful tribute to little Kira.

Love,
Patricia

What a lovely tribute in such a sad situation.  Hopefully, you'll have this piece framed and presented to the family.  I know they'd treasure it.  May God bless them and carry them through their loss.

Dear Sheri and Passionate Friends. Thank you so much for the very tender poem for my Kira Anne and thank all of you for your care and concern. My heart is soothed by these soft and sincere thoughts. Kira Anne's poem along with the heartfelt responses are comforting in this time of great sadness. It is things like this that make the heaviness of our loss seem a bit lighter.
